Practical experiment with taking images TZFM201SummerWeek8

I chose this subject because I’m interested in creating ‘layers’ in an image, such as for example foliage or grasses partly obscuring a subject beyond. A window, a curtain can be ambiguous in its function, it can conceal or reveal: I’m drawn to the uncertainties this can create. I have tried similar shots in the past,  frost and ice-covered windows in the depths of winter, so for this brief I turned to the interior of our shed and the window festooned with webs. Shooting from the inside produced a modest yet quite subtle result. I would like to find more ways of creating experimental, artistic images which fall between the naturalistic and the abstract. Maybe I should use gauze or open-weave fabric when no webs are available.
